What’s our Process?
Our website is set-up to help you decide on cover leathers, liner leather, ribbons, End Sheets, Page Dyes, and threads , etc. while making your decisions. Our web site also has a portfolio of some of our previous projects to help give you ideas.
We don’t request deposits or pre-payments. You keep your Bible to use until your scheduled shipping date to us. We’re ready to begin your rebind when we receive your Bible, shipped at its appointed time. Our turn around time with most Bible rebinds is two weeks or less. When your Bible rebind is completed, you’ll receive photos of the rebind, and an emailed invoice with links to pay online. Your Bible will be shipped after receipt of your payment. Pretty simple!
The following is our process:
1.) Review our Facebook posts, website portfolio, and the “Design Options” section on our website for ideas for your Bible’s rebind.
2.) Complete our quote request form.
3.) We’ll email a proposal based on your specifications for review. Carefully review and request any changes you may have.
4.) Approve the proposal if you wish to proceed. (We work from your approved proposal to order materials, and during the actual rebind.)
5.) Review our Scheduling Calendar and select an available date to ship your Bible to reserve your place in our wait queue. (Our current wait time is eight (8) /+ months.) Our turnaround on your Bible, once we receive it, is 10 - 14 days.
6.) You’ll receive a confirmation email after signing up on our scheduling calendar. Reminder emails will be sent one week before before your scheduled shipping date, three days before, and the day before your scheduled day to ship us your Bible. Those emails will include our shipping address and shipping tips.
7.) We rebind your Bible. Our turnaround time is typically two weeks, or less after your Bible’s scheduled arrival.
8.) We’ll email an invoice for your Bible rebinding project when it is complete and ready to return to you. Your invoice will provide an online payment link for convenient online payments. You’ll also receive photos of your Bible, and an explanation of what we did is a seperate email.
9.) We ship your Bible via prepaid USPS Priority Mail, or UPS Ground, upon receipt of your full payment. Tracking information will be emailed.
When do you pay?
We’re a little old school. We don’t request deposits, or pre-payments. You don’t pay anything until your Bible rebinding project is complete. The only thing we require before we do a rebind is an approved estimate. We create that from your completed estimate request form.
Yes, our wait times have gotten longer over the years. I can only complete so many rebinds in a week. I don’t take shortcuts, so the wait time has gotten longer, but you keep your Bible until we’re actually ready to rebind it, and you don’t pay anything until your Bible rebind is complete. We’ll send photos of your Bible when it’s finished.
We email your invoice upon completion. Your emailed invoice includes an online payment link. We accept ACH payments, American Express, Apple Pay, Discover, MasterCard, PayPal, Venmo, and Visa.
